Firmport was founded on the Faroe Islands and in Romania in 2008.
The purpose of the firm is to:

• be an innovate and flexible supplier of foreign workforce for the Nordic countries (staffing) and
• represent foreign IT-firms in connection with outsourcing of Nordic IT-services.

Firmport is the link between workers abroad and the industry in the Nordic countries. Cooperation with Firmport gives firms, factories and institutions the possibility to hire work-force according to need for short- or long-term. Payment is only made for the time they work for the employer.
 
With such a two-way plan of action (Staffing & Outsourcing), Firmport is a strategic cooperation-firm and supplier of flexible and developing overall plans for the Nordic industry.
